Jadrolinija is the largest Croatian shipping company, founded in 1947, which connects the Adriatic coast and islands. This photo series was created during the summer months, following the shipping lines through Dalmatia, Istria, and Kvarner.
The goal of the collaboration was to document an authentic sailing experience, focusing on the dynamics of life on board, which often takes a backseat in classic tourist depictions. The main inspiration for the project was the aesthetic of street photography. The approach is based on observing passengers and crew as spontaneous actors within the space of the ship's deck. Instead of staged shots, the focus is on natural interactions, gestures, and emotions that arise during the journey.
