The Birin Winery is dedicated to cultivating indigenous varieties such as Debit, Maraština, and Babić. Although the family has been involved in viticulture in the Vodice hinterland for generations, the process of modernization and the development of their own brand began fifteen years ago. Today, they produce around 25,000 bottles annually, leveraging the advantages of specific micro-locations on red soil and stone, combined with the application of modern enological technology.
The project encompassed continuous monitoring of the work throughout the entire year, from the harvest period in old vineyards to the processing and aging phases in the cellar. The photographs capture authentic moments of labor, striving to convey the hardworking identity and the character of the region from which the wines originate.
